Meet Captain the Cockapoo!
Hi friend! You may be wondering who the lucky pawrents will be that will get to adopt me!
Before I tell you, please allow me to tell my story: I was born on Dec 17, almost exactly one year ago. As the first born son, I grew strong and smart, and – I’m proud to say this – the Biggest of all my brothers and sisters!
All my siblings have found their new homes, from Louisiana to Mexico. I missed them, but I’m glad they found their loving furever homes. I’m really looking forward to finding mine!
So if you’re wanting to apply for me, I weigh right at 30LB, am updated on all my shots and possess a KING sized Heart. I love long walks, kids to lick, and curling up on soft leather couches. I’m learning to respond when Eric & Katrina asks something of me, and also that I need to pee-pee outside when I’m in the house.
In the spirit of giving and blessing someone, my current Pawrents are donating me to a loving home where I can bless someone in need!
Q&A Before Applying For Captain
Who is eligible to receive Captain?
We are looking for veterans, single parent homes, adoptive parents, non-profits and other families or organizations looking for a service/emotional support dog, that can’t afford one otherwise.
How can I apply?
Please submit the application in full below on or before Dec 30, 2022 to be considered for our giveaway. The winner will be announced by January 1, 2023! We will consider each application and choose the most impactful story to receive Captain.
What does the winner receive?
Besides Captain (of course 😜), the winner will be invited to participate in a video interview or professional photoshoot and writeup, highlighting their story or cause to our thousands of followers. We will also include a delightful Christmas puppy starter kit with some surprise gifts!
Is something wrong with Captain that he didn’t get adopted when he was available?
Not at all! Captain is a wonderfully strong, healthy and smart dog with a sweet, gentle personality. As a licensed dog breeder, we occasionally have puppies that don’t get chosen immediately. In this case, we decided to raise Captain to an adult and give him away as a way to give back to our community.
